Gábor Ladányi

Gábor Ladányi is a Hungarian guitarist and composer. He began his musical studies at age of 7.

His unique sound and style are based on jazz, classical music, gypsy jazz, balkan music and blues.

Gábor was a classical guitar student
of Kodály Zoltán Music High School in Debrecen where he graduated
in 2012.

Between 2012 and 2015, he studied at the Kőbánya Music Studio, where
his teachers were Ferenc Tornóczky, Kornél Fekete-Kovács and Gyula
Babos.

In 2015 Gábor moved to Brussels to study of the jazz department of
the Koninklijk Conservatorium until 2019.

He performed as a soloist with many orchestras such as 
-Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra in
-Istanbul(Zorlu Performing Arts Center) and Ankara(CSO   Ada Ankara) 
-MÁV Symphony Orchestra in Budapest(Palace of Arts) 
-Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra in Rome (Auditorium   Parco della Musica) 
-Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra(Palace of music   and Congress) 
-Thüringen Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany.
In 2019, he initiated an international project by founding the Gábor Ladányi Trio, based in Brussels and dedicated to the genre of jazz. He released his debut album, ‘Reborn,’ featuring collaborations with Roby and Tony Lakatos, towards the end of 2022. The album exclusively showcases his original compositions.
In 2022, Hunnia Records released his second album titled ‘Dusty’.
Besides leading his own trio, he is also a member of the Roby Lakatos Ensemble and Pankastic. In 2022, he embarked on a new duo project with Lea Brückner, with whom he primarily explores classical repertoire through new arrangements that he has written.

Despite his young age, he has already performed and recorded with notable artists such as Hadrien Feraud, Jesus Molina, Angelo Debarre, Tony Lakatos, Roby Lakatos, Ray Brown Jr., Gergő Borlai, Bruno Castelucci, Toine Thys, Eddie Conrad, Ryan Quigley, Michael Blass, and Mark Mathys
